Controlant’s commitment translates to specific sustainability goals
In May 2023, Controlant had its science-based target validated by the Science Based Target initiative (SBTi). It has committed to reducing absolute scope 1 and scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 42% by 2030 from a 2022 base-year, and leadership is committed to measuring and reducing scope 3 emissions. In 2023, Controlant made significant strides toward this goal, reducing overall emissions by 68% and scopes 1 and 2 emissions by 38%. As a result, the company is on track to meet its 2030 science-based target.

Controlant has implemented sustainable practices into its own operations, prioritizing how it addresses environmental, social, and governance needs in its operations, products, and solutions beyond its own value chain. To enhance their environmental stewardship, Controlant has established robust carbon accounting, perform life cycle assessments, and use renewable energy where possible. Controlant pioneers continuous product innovation, driving a circular economy within global pharma supply chains. By eliminating waste in one of the world’s most critical supply chains, Controlant is shaping responsible supply chains and a more sustainable future for the planet and patients.
